Touch Me (One Night With Sole Regret #4) - review

Touch Me was another great addition to the One Night With Sole Regret series. There is just something about a rock star...

Owen Mitchell is the kind of guy that that likes to play and not settle down. When he meets Caitlyn Hanson at a sex club she is attempting to have a one night stand to live out her fantasies and get over her ex husband. Owen and Caitlyn have a pretty hot scene at the club with the help of band mate Kellen. Unfortunately, he left a little prematurely and missed out on most of the action. There is definitely more to Owen and Kellen's story that I hope we get in the next book. Caitlyn and Owen continue to hit it off after the club. They just may be what each other has been looking for.

Complete with a cliffhanger at the end, Olivia Cunning knows exactly what she's doing when she writes. You can never go wrong with a sexy rock star, hot sex and a nice twist at the end!

Can't wait for more nights with Sole Regret!

You Belong With Me - review

You Belong With Me is an excellent addition to the Reunion Series!

Carter London!!!! My fictional love for the week is everything a girl would want (trust me on this one). Hot, sexy, down-to-earth rock star who just happens to be in love with his best friend, Casey Colbet. When Carter returns home, from his current tour, for his college reunion he plans on letting Casey know exactly how he feels. Unfortunately, Casey is dating none other than the extremely wealthy Jordan Reid. However, once Casey learns of Carter's feelings for her, they cross the friendship line and it is HOT!

Of course Carter and Casey have some obstacles to overcome but a love like theirs comes along once in a lifetime. Is there anything better than falling in love with your best friend?! Absolutely not!

I really enjoyed this book and can't wait for the next book in the Reunion Series. M.R. Joseph did a fantastic job with this one!

 Excerpt :

When I get back to my room, I text Dawson.

Me:  Tonight was really fun. I heart you.

He calls me right away. “Is hearting me close to loving me?”
“Maybe. You swear you're over Whitney?”
“I swear.”
“Then I think I need another goodnight kiss.”
“I’m on my way.”
I crack the window, letting in the chilly night air, then run into my closet, using my phone as a flashlight and jumping over the pile of text books that are scattered across my floor.
I throw on a soft knit nightie as I hear my window open and shut. I grab a cashmere blanket off my chair, wrap it around my shoulders, and walk toward my bed where Dawson is diving under the covers.
 `“It's cold out,” he whispers.
I slide under the covers, wrapping him up in the blanket with me.
He's a little tipsy and looks really tired. “Are you tired?”
“Very, are you?”
“Yeah.”
“So you just wanted a goodnight kiss, huh, Keatie?”
“That and . . .” I run my hands through his hair, stalling. Then I decide to be fearless and go for it. “I wanted to tell you something.”
“And what's that?”
“I wanted you to know that I more than heart you, Dawson.”
I can feel him smiling as he kisses me. “Hearting me is good enough.”
“No, it's not, and it's not how I feel.” I kiss the side of his neck, just below his ear, and finally say it, “I love you, Dawson.”

Book Description:
There’s complicated. And there’s Rowen Sterling.

After numbing pain for the past five years with boys, alcohol, and all-around apathy, she finds herself on a Greyhound bus to nowhere Montana the summer after she graduates high school. Her mom agreed to front the bill to Rowen’s dream art school only if Rowen proves she can work hard and stay out of trouble at Willow Springs Ranch. Cooking breakfast at the crack of dawn for a couple dozen ranch hands and mucking out horse stalls are the last things in the world Rowen wants to spend her summer doing.

Until Jesse Walker saunters into her life wearing a pair of painted-on jeans, a cowboy hat, and a grin that makes something in her chest she’d thought was frozen go boom-boom. Jesse’s like no one else, and certainly nothing like her. He’s the bright and shiny to her dark and jaded.

Rowen knows there’s no happily-ever-after for the golden boy and the rebel girl—happily-right-now is a stretch—so she tries to forget and ignore the boy who makes her feel things she’s not sure she’s ready to feel. But the more she pushes him away, the closer he seems to get. The more she convinces herself she doesn’t care, the harder she falls.

When her dark secrets refuse to stay locked behind the walls she’s kept up for years, Rowen realizes it’s not just everyone else she needs to be honest with. It’s herself.
